Dr. Lauren Hall Ruddell holds a PhD in natural resource management. She has worked as an endangered species biologist, zookeeper, farmer, and professor. When not cooking, freelance writing, and blogging, she spends time working as Executive Officer for a goat rescue non-profit, and serving on the board of the Old Irish Goat Society. For fun she relaxes in the Colorado Rockies noshing on goat cheese and hiking with her string of pack goats. Her blogs are "Goat Goodness" a blending of goat product recipes, travelog, and heritage breed goat facts and "Zoodulcis" an exploration of the Human-Animal Bond.
